Yorkshire UAS have rounded off an incredibly successful year by winning the Hack Trophy.

The Hack Trophy is awarded annually at the University Air Squadron Annual Dinner, held at RAF Cranwell. It is presented to the Squadron which has performed best across all aspects of the UAS system. After narrowly losing to UGSAS last year, Yorkshire took the trophy.

This completes a year that has seen Yorkshire swimming the English Channel and win numerous sporting events such as, Rugby 7s, Basketball and Shooting to name just a few. Yorkshire UAS has also had to face one of its largest challenges to date; the end of 2013 saw the squadron move from its much loved home at RAF Church Fenton to RAF Linton-on-Ouse which was smoothly executed by the huge effort put in by the students, staff and Babcock engineers.

YUAS will aim to continue excelling at everything it undertakes in the future.
