We’re back with the latest RAF 60 Second Update, this time from the iconic Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF), based at RAF Coningsby. Here’s a breakdown of your update this week:
- An Atlas has completed a number of airdrops into Gaza, delivering vital aid as part of an international coalition to provide life-saving assistance to civilians in Gaza.
- RAF aircraft arrive in Romania for Operation Biloxi, NATO's air policing mission.
- 18 Squadron Chinooks deploy from to RAF Shawbury as part of Exercise Pegasus Fury, to put the Agile Combat Employment model to the test.
- BBMF, who maintain twelve historic and irreplaceable aircraft, including Spitfire, Lancaster, Hurricanes, Dakota and Chipmunk, have released their display dates for 2024.
