The First Lady of the United States of America, Dr Jill Biden, has met RAF personnel from 140 Expeditionary Air Wing.

The First Lady’s visit to Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base in south-eastern Romania is primarily a visit to Romania to meet US troops, currently deployed as part of NATO’s Response Force in the Black Sea region.  The visit also allowed her to meet other NATO personnel deployed there, including 140 Expeditionary Air Wing personnel, who are conducting the NATO enhanced Air Policing mission.
