Team manager Sergeant Karl Milgate saw his charges play out a 1-1 draw against the Great Britain Police team in June, for the first match since COVID-19.  The RAF man will hope his team can cope with their impressive opponents for the clash, which will be screened live on the Forces News Facebook page.

Tickets for the game are available here.

The match is sponsored by club owner Roman Abramovich and in partnership with the RAF Museum 'Hidden Heroes' project, which raises awareness of the many untold stories during World War II,

This Remembrance Day match is dedicated to the vital role played by the British Jewish women who served in the UK Forces during the Second World War, with all money raised from ticket sales being donated to the Royal British Legion.

"Through our partnership with the RAF Museum, we committed to sharing the important story of the critical role the Jewish personnel played in winning the Second World War and defeating Hitler. Their fascinating stories offer a powerful window to the past through which we can make links to today and use their stories to inspire future generations and ensure their legacy continues."

Between five and six thousand British Jewish Women joined the Forces during World War II, in addition to nearly 4000 women joining from Palestine, in the Middle East.  These women all joined to fight against tyranny, racism and antisemitism, fully aware they risked torture and execution if captured due to their heritage.

"The stories of these exceptional Jewish women are an inspiration to us all.  Their determination to stand up to fascism and contribute to a future that was free from hatred and discrimination is a legacy we all have the responsibility to live up to.  Their future is our present, and the Royal Air Force Museum is delighted to work with Chelsea FC to ensure we share – and strive to live up to – their brilliance."
