RTS HAS A NEW COMMANDING OFFICER

Squadron Leader Laurence ‘Loz’ Humphreys has passed the command of Recruit Training Squadron at RAF Halton before departing for Winterbourne Gunner to take up a position in The Defence Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Centre, (CBRN).

He handed over the Sword to new Officer Commanding, Squadron Leader Katy Steed, Provost Branch, who said: “Having previously served as an instructor at RAF College Cranwell, I am delighted to take over command of RTS and be back within a Phase 1 training environment. Originally from Chesterfield in Derbyshire, I come to RTS with over 19 years’ service, both in the ranks and commissioned service.  I look forward to the  challenges of Command and being part of RAF Halton Station”.
