Trophies awarded for Best Squadron and Most Improved squadrons

Cadets from 111 (Sunderland) Squadron were awarded the Sir Alan Lees Trophy for the Best small Royal Air Force Air Cadet (RAFAC) Squadron 2019.

111 (Sunderland) Squadron CWO Elliot Barker and FS Ellie Atkinson were presented the prestigious Lees Trophy by Air Commodore McCafferty.

 

Cadets from 209 (West Bridgford) Squadron and 88 (Battle) Squadron were jointly presented with the Marshall Trophy for being the Most Improved RAFAC Squadrons 2019.

The West Bridgford cadets will hold the Marshall Trophy for six months before handing it over to Surrey Wing 88 (Battle) Squadron for the remainder of the year. 

It was presented by Christopher Walkinshaw a Non-Executive Director within the Marshalls of Cambridge organisation.
