The latest 60 Second Update comes from 31 Squadron, the first UK-based Protector squadron, based at RAF Waddington. In this episode:
- An Atlas from RAF Brize Norton has deployed to France to take part in Exercise Volfa, an opportunity for RAF aircrew, movements specialists and engineers to train with a coalition of nations in an unfamiliar environment which tests our ability to operate under ACE (Agile Combat Employment).
- Ukrainian pilots have graduated from RAF elementary flying training through Operation Interstorm, part of the UK’s commitment to supporting Ukraine’s resistance to Russia’s illegal invasion.
- 24th March marked the 80th anniversary of the Great Escape, wreaths were laid at locations across Europe to remember the 50 Prisoners of War that were murdered on their recapture.
