We are delighted to announce the appointment of Group Captain David Boreham BSc (Hons) RAF as the new Regional Commandant for South West Region. Gp Capt Boreham will continue to oversee Central and East Region until his successor is appointed.
Speaking on their appointment, Gp Capt Boreham said:
“After four highly rewarding years leading the Central & East Region, as their Regional Commandant, it has been a privilege to be part of the team’s journey, successes and achievements. I am delighted to have now been given the opportunity to join and lead the South West Region team. The RAF Air Cadets is entering an exciting period, with significant opportunities ahead, and I very much look forward to working with the South West team to build on the strong foundations already in place and to contribute to the continued success of the Region and RAFAC as a whole.”
Commandant RAF Air Cadets, Air Commodore Al Lewis commented on the benefits of Gp Capt Boreham's experience of the organisation brings;
"I know he will be missed by the Central and East Region team. His knowledge of the organisation and wider service will bring immediate benefits to the South West Region as he steps into his new role."
