It’s been an exceptionally busy year for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and this has been helped be the addition of 11 new joiners to the team during the last six months.
The team welcomed Cpl Hannah Todd in April this year within the Survival Equipment team, Paris Pratley-Gomez in May as the Public Relations Officer, Flight Sergeant Tim Lilley in June as the BBMF Flight Sergeant Engineering and Sgt Shelley Morris joined the Engineering Support Cell in August.
Joining the Mechanical Engineering team, we have also welcomed Cpl Mikey Johnson, AS1(T) Tom Croak and AS1(T) Ben Robinson, as well as AS1(T) Alex Eaton who has joined our Avionics Engineering team.
Finally, we have also had the pleasure to welcome back three personnel who have re-joined as Full Time Reservists on the Flight, with Cpl Oscar Wild as a Mechanical Engineer, Cpl Jim Blackburn as a Survival Equipment Technician and Flt Lt Andy Preece as a fighter pilot.
A very warm welcome to you all, and we’re very pleased to have you working with us on the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight!
