The RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team have begun training ahead of the 2026 display season, on Exercise Freefall Endeavour in California.
Exercise Freefall Endeavour is the first part of two training exercises the team take part in prior to displaying in the summer. Freefall Endeavour primarily focuses on leaning freefall skydiving skills and gaining qualifications, which are used both during the display and in RAF parachute instructing.

Corporal Higham from Buckinghamshire has joined the team as Falcon 3, one of three new jumpers on the team for the 2026 season.
He joined the RAF in March 2019 as a Physical Training Instructor. Upon completion of Phase 1 & 2 training he was posted to RAF Halton where he spent 3 years delivering the Physical Education elements of the Basic Recruit Training Course before doing on to becoming at Parachute Jump Instructor at RAF Brize Norton.

Corporal Higham said:
“I specialised as a Parachute Jumping Instructor in 2023 and am now a 1st year in the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team. I am currently on Exercise Freefall Endeavour in California, which will provide valuable experience and skills for the upcoming 2026 Display Season. I feel extremely privileged to have been selected for the RAF Falcons and am excited to represent the Royal Air Force as part of the UK’s premier military parachute display team.”
