Chris, moves to 16 Air Assault Brigade, Colchester, having spent 3 years as the Officer Commanding RAF Falcons, and his final parting words to the team; a very fitting quote from Brian Tracy, Canadian American motivational speaker, were:

“Aspire greatly; anything less than a commitment to excellence becomes an acceptance of mediocrity”

Flight Lieutenant Stu Philpott takes over as the team take a break, before heading into their winter training ahead of their 2022 Display Season.

“Becoming OC Falcons is a once in a career opportunity and a huge privilege that brings with it 60+ years of tradition and heritage, all of which is not lost on me. During my time as Deputy OC, we worked hard to create an inclusive, driven and enjoyable environment which enabled the Team to deliver at some big events and make some lasting relationships. As OC Falcons, I am looking forward to capitalising on those relationships, putting the RAF Falcons back at the front and centre of RAF’s Engagement Strategy. Our 2022 display season will bring new additions to our dynamic display and I look forward to seeing you all at our 2022 displays.”
