Mental Health Awareness Week: Losing a Loved One to Depression

Squadron Leader Roger Cruickshank, 37, is a fast jet pilot who has overcome his fair share of adversity. As a result, he is a keen campaigner and fundraiser for mental health awareness.

Sadly in 2010 Roger’s mother, a nurse, took her own life aged 54. Roger confronted his anguish by writing a book which gives advice to others going through similar trauma.
