The Royal Air Force Air Historical Branch is based at RAF Northolt in Middlesex.
Its records consist of documents, photographs and other material dating back to before the formation of the RAF and bringing that story bang up to date. From Sopwith Camels to Operation Shader, from top-level enquiries into RAF records and operations, to families wanting to know more about a relative’s military story, the branch covers it all.
Flight Lieutenant Chris Sully spoke with Seb Cox, the Head of the Air Historic Branch to find out more.
