RAF pave the way for Memorial Garden

Trainee Gunners (TG) pave the way for station personnel, families and friends of loved ones that visit the Memorial Garden at RAF Honington.

They gave up their Saturday to build a path through the existing Memorial Garden in order that the garden can be more easily accessible to all.  They also cleaned and maintained the memorials which pay tribute to Service personnel fallen in battle or those that have died whilst in Service, including past Station Commanders.   A significantly poignant effort from the new generation of gunners.

The Memorial Garden was originally built from the rubble of the War Operations Centre here at RAF Honington and is maintained by the Station Warrant Officers work party.
