RAF Police honour service animals at Animals in War Memorial

Representatives from the RAF Police gathered at the Animals in War Memorial today to pay tribute to the countless animals who have served alongside military forces throughout history.

Flight Sergeant Ginger, Corporal Newbould and Military Working Dog, Paul, joined representatives from the British Army and other animal organisations at the memorial to honour service animals who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

It is a huge privilege to lay a wreath on behalf of our animals who paid the ultimate price. It is important to recognise the contribution that animals have provided in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
