History

1943 - Formed as a light anti-aircraft unit.

1943 – Deployed to Italy  

1945 – Deployed to France and Germany

1946 - Became a field squadron.

1974 - Equipped with the Rapier anti-aircraft missile system.

1982 - Deployed to the Falklands as part of 5 Brigade.

1990 - Squadron number taken up by the Queen's Colour Squadron

2003 – Deployed to Iraq.

2009 – Deployed to Afghanistan.
