Wing Commander Crow leaves the Royal Air Force after a 23-year career which saw him commence his specialist training as a Fighter Controller at RAF Boulmer in 2003. His career has included postings across the UK, multiple operational detachments overseas and several tours of duty with the UK Air Surveillance and Control System (ASACS) at RAF Boulmer.

On leaving the Royal Air Force, Wing Commander Crow said:

"It’s been an incredible honour to command 19 Squadron and lead the talented team that keeps our airspace safe 24/7. The Squadron now combines the lineage of the UK’s Air Surveillance and Control System with the first fighter squadron to fly the Spitfire and has a proud history of defending our skies through the decades. I now pass the baton to the very capable Wing Commander Wills who will continue that vital mission."
