Queen's Green Canopy Initiative

Recently, RAF Boulmer planted a number of trees as part of the Queen's Green Canopy initiative in memoriam to honour Her Majesty.

The orchard was a joint effort by Royal Air Force personnel, Civil Servants, Defence Infrastructure Organisation, VIVO and our Grounds Maintenance team.

The Station Commander of RAF Boulmer, Wing Commander Best and Deputy Commander Battlespace Management Operations, Wing Commander Crow, were joined by representatives of the project team as the final tree was planted.

In total 45 trees were planted which included Apple, Plum, Pear and Cherry trees.
