RAF Boulmer welcomed distinguished guests from across the local community to its Annual Reception, offering a unique opportunity to see first-hand the Station's operational output and the vital work carried out by its personnel.

Guests braved the rain as the evening concluded with a traditional sunset ceremony, a fitting tribute to the Station's proud heritage and continued service.

The event brought together local partners, landowners, businesses and community volunteers, recognising the invaluable relationships that underpin the station's day-to-day operations.

"RAF Boulmer's relationship with the local community remains one of our strengths. These partnerships matter, they ensure that RAF Boulmer is not separate from the community, but part of it. I would like to thank those who volunteer in a multitude of ways to support our community, it does not go unnoticed. Thanks also to those who enable our activities from local farmers and landowners, to businesses who provide vital services for our personnel and their families."

"We are immeasurably grateful for the unstinting support we receive from the whole force here at RAF Boulmer and our partners in the local community."
