The accolade is presented to the member of RAF Brize Norton who has done the most over the past year to enhance the efficiency of the Station.

Flight Sergeant Corban has continued to support personnel through deployments, Community outreach and wellbeing activities both on and off the Station. Her support to the Station COVID effort has been exemplary. Managing a team who operated seven days a week, providing meals, groceries and medication. Offered welfare support by calling all personnel in isolation, at one point in excess of 900 people, including families and personnel living on Station. Ensuring all personnel and their families were contacted, offering entertainment ideas, including virtual coffee mornings and competitions whilst focusing on mental health support and to ensure personnel knew they were not alone.

"I am honoured and humbled to have been nominated and chosen to receive this award. It was very much a team effort from many areas at RAF Brize Norton and I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank everyone who helped out during this period to help make the lives of anyone who was alone and isolated during the lockdown period that little bit more bearable."
