On Thursday 26 February, Basic Movements Training Course 129 successfully graduated from the Defence Movements Training Squadron. The cohort of 15 Phase 2 trainees now move forward to consolidate their skills on the No. 1 Air Mobility Wing Movements Conversion Unit.
Over the past 14 weeks, the trainees completed an intensive programme covering Aircraft Familiarisation, Air Cargo and Passenger Handling, Documentation, and the Principles of Restraint, core competencies that underpin the role of a Royal Air Force Logistics Movements Specialist.
The Reviewing Officer for the graduation parade was Wing Commander Gav Turnbull, Officer Commanding 1AMW, who formally welcomed the graduates to their new careers within the RAF’s Logistics Movements trade.
