RAF Brize Norton Celebrates Dual Honours at RAF Association Annual Conference

RAF Brize Norton has proudly secured the prestigious Lord Tedder Trophy after raising the highest RAF Association (RAFA) Wings Appeal total in 2024.

The award was collected on behalf of the Station by Group Captain Henton, Wing Commander Stringer, Chief Technician Craven and Sergeant Anstis.

In addition to the Station’s achievement, Chief Technician Craven was personally recognised with the Royal Air Force Association Liaison Officer (RAFALO) of the Year Award, acknowledging his exceptional contribution to the Association throughout 2024.

Both trophies were presented by Air Marshal Sir Baz North, President of the RAF Association, during the Annual Conference. Reflecting on the awards, Station Commander Group Captain Henton said:

“I was absolutely delighted to hear that RAF Brize Norton had won the Lord Tedder Trophy for raising the highest net collection for the RAFA Wings Appeal. This is a testament to the outstanding commitment of the Station RAFA Committee.

"It was also fabulous to see Chief Technician Craven recognised as RAFALO of the Year. His dedication to RAFA over the years has been phenomenal, and this award is a fitting recognition.”
