Officer Commanding Engineering and Logistics Wing, Wing Commander Liz O’Sullivan said:

“Being a ‘women in engineering’ in the RAF for me is all about being an engineer and not about being a woman. The career opportunities, regardless of gender, have been fantastic and I genuinely love what I do and I see that passion in my colleagues. My current appointment as Officer Commanding Engineering and Logistics Wing at RAF Brize Norton is a hugely diverse role and encompasses being the Chief Air Engineer for the Station and ensuring the Continuing Airworthiness of the A400M, C-17, C-130J and Voyager fleets, as well as Airborne Equipment. I am incredibly privileged to lead a dedicated and hardworking team of senior engineers, over 40% of whom happen to be women, and work with well over a thousand engineers to support and assure delivery of aircraft and equipment for the Air Mobility Force.”
