RAF Brize Norton donates recycling for London Fashion Week

A local eco fashion design team have been working with RAF Brize Norton’s
Conservation Club to reuse hard to recycle waste and plastics from the
Station, to be turned into garments for London Fashion Week.

VIN + OMI specialise in design from waste materials and having local offices to RAF Brize Norton in the Cotswolds, a collaboration was formed to utilise the recyclable materials generated by the Station.

Lorna Nunn, Station Environmental Protection Officer said:

“RAF Brize Norton have collaborated with award winning Eco designers VIN + OMI by contributing a    non-serviceable parachute and 3 bags of plastic bottles to be turned into garments for London Fashion Week.  VIN + OMI are recognised for their designs made from waste materials, their focus on eco innovation, social impact and much more. We are excited to see the finished creation and look forward to working with them in the future.”
