Oxford United's Will Vaulks led the Club's 'Can We Talk?' campaign at RAF Brize Norton, for a powerful workshop alongside partners Baton of Hope.
Will was joined by Baton of Hope's Mike McCarthy and Ben Wilson, in the sharing personal stories about the impact of suicide on each of their lives.

Will also reflected openly on the highs and lows of his career, offering honest insights and key takeaways around resilience and mental health.

With support from Baton of Hope, attendees received practical guidance on recognising warning signs in themselves and others, as together the Club and charity continue its mission to tackle the biggest killer of people under the age of 35 in the UK. Following the event, participants gained access to online training to build on what they have learnt.

Flight Sergeant Ian and Sergeant Russ said:
"We were honoured to welcome the Baton of Hope Charity and Oxford United Football Club to RAF Brize Norton today. The work they’re doing to raise awareness around such a difficult but important topic is truly inspiring. If even one person left today with the tools to support someone in need, that’s a meaningful success. We’re proud to play a part in this conversation and we hope this is just the beginning of more to come."
