The welfare houses at RAF Brize Norton have received a new lease of life thanks to the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA).
On Friday 3rd May 2019, a grand re-opening of the welfare houses took place, with the Station Commander, Group Captain Dan James, RAFA representatives and other members of the Station present.
“The welfare houses at RAF Brize Norton are an integral part of the welfare provision for our personnel and their families. The homes are readily available to all serving personnel who may require them.We are extremely grateful to RAFA for agreeing to pay for the redecoration of the homes. We endeavour to create a ‘home from home’ environment for all personnel who use them. As well as the redecoration, soft furnishings have been updated to make them more welcoming for our families.”
