Remembering the Crew of C-130K Hercules XV193

Today, 27th May, marks 27 years since the fatal crash of C-130K Hercules XV193, whilst engaged in formation and low-level navigation training over Scotland. All nine crew lost their lives on that fateful day.

Personnel from Number LXX (70) Squadron were due to commemorate this anniversary in Scotland this year, however, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this has, sadly, been postponed.

Wing Commander Lee Roberts, Officer Commanding LXX Squadron, led the tributes today, at RAF Brize Norton, in dedication to all who were onboard that day.
