Yvonne found the most rewarding part of her career was undertaking Aeromed Flying Duties at RAF Lyneham, repatriating injured or sick Service Personnel, Service Families and Entitled Civilians from various locations around the world to the UK. Escorting patients back to the UK to receive urgent medical treatment and returning them to their family and loved ones was highly rewarding.

Yvonne said:

“Throughout my career the Royal Air Force has given me so many amazing job opportunities with the various trade roles, the ability to travel, undertake an overseas posting and participate in unit sports and Force Development expeditions. My transition from Regular to Reserve Service was seamless and would definitely recommend joining the RAF Reservists to personnel looking to leave the service in the near future.”
