Following the official retirement of the Tornado on 31 March, personnel from 31 Squadron, RAF Marham took part in a ceremony at RAF College Cranwell to temporarily lodge their Squadron standard in the Rotunda of College Hall Officers’ Mess.
The standard will remain at RAF College Cranwell until the Squadron is reactivated as a Protector Squadron in 2024 at RAF Waddington.
