Graduation of the Queen's Squadron and Sovereign's review – 18 Jul 19

On arrival at the College Parade Ground His Royal Highness, The Duke of Kent  accompanied by Commandant of the Royal Air Force College, took the Royal Salute with a fly past by the Red Arrows. Musical accompaniment was provided by The Band of The Royal Air Force College. After reviewing the graduating officers, His Royal Highness, The Duke of Kent presented the Course prizes in front of all the attending family and friends.The parade concluded with a fly past by a Typhoon from 29 Squadron at Royal Air Force Coningsby.

Commandant of the Royal Air Force College, Air Commodore Peter Squires said: Graduations are always memorable, but having His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent as today’s Reviewing Officer has made this occasion extra special for the Royal Air Force’s newest officers and their guests.

In keeping with tradition, His Royal Highness, The Duke of Kent was then invited to plant a Lime tree beside the Queen’s Walk in a ceremony attended by service personnel and their families.
