It was an honour to welcome Her Royal Highness, Catherine, Princess of Wales, on her first visit to RAF Coningsby yesterday.
The visit began with a visit to the Quick Reaction Alert Facility, to meet some of the personnel who safeguard the skies of the United Kingdom. This was followed by a flight in a simulator at the Typhoon Training Facility.
Our Honorary Air Commodore then met Station personnel to learn more about life at Coningsby.
Her Royal Highness's visit ended with a short walkabout, where our families had the opportunity to meet, and in some cases receive a hug from, our guest.
A great day at RAF Coningsby.
