New Sensory Room at Dandelions Day Nursery and Kids Club, RAF Coningsby

On Tuesday 7 May RAF Coningsby’s Station Commander, Group Captain Mark Flewin officially opened the new Sensory Room at Dandelions Day Nursery and Kids Club, RAF Coningsby. The new facility has a wide range of equipment that stimulates the senses of sight, hearing and touch, and is accessible to children of all ages.

Nursery and Kids Club Manager, Jill Proctor said,

“I am extremely happy to have this amazing facility primarily available to our children and families attending the setting, however we hope the whole community will in time also benefit from our Sensory Classroom.”

Group Captain Mark Flewin said,

“I am delighted to open this fantastic new Sensory Room. I would also like to thank The Royal Air Force Central Fund for their contribution towards this project and the continuous support they give to the Royal Air Force Coningsby family.”
