COSFORD AIR SHOW 2020 POSTPONED

RAF COSFORD TO POSTPONE 2020 AIR SHOW

Further to recent updates from Her Majesty’s Government on the response to the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 RAF Cosford Air Show which was to be held on Sunday 14th June.

The success of the Air Show relies on many organisations coming together to provide a safe and enjoyable show. Given the timescale and current situation, and particularly the draw on local critical services we cannot guarantee reasonable provision by June; our emergency services need to concentrate on the matter in hand.

Although we are disappointed to be in this position, we believe it is the right decision to protect the health and well-being of our visitors and serving personnel; this is, and always will be, our top priority.

We want to reassure customers who have purchased tickets that they will be able to receive a full refund, or they can choose to carry their tickets over to the next Air Show. A refund process is currently being set up, so please bear with us, we will contact you as soon as arrangements are in place.

We are actively looking to see if it would be possible to resurrect the RAF Cosford Air Show in September, but only should the situation and availability of supporting services permit.

Each year, the RAF Cosford Air Show raises important funds for four RAF charities – the RAF Association, the RAF Benevolent Fund, the RAF Charitable Trust and the RAF Museums. You can, if you wish, donate the cost of your ticket to these great causes who support serving and ex-serving personnel and their families. Details on how to do this will follow shortly.

We will continue to post updates to our website and repost to social media, if you need to contact the Air Show Team, please email [email protected] or message us through our Facebook page.
