Air Vice Marshal Warren James on a visit to RAF Cosford.
Part of his busy programme was a visit to the Air Engineering & Mechanical Training Squadron.
Whilst there, he had an overview of the current and future training opportunities for engineering in the Royal Air Force. Some of Cosford’s instructors were also on hand to demonstrate the aircraft movement process taught as part of the trainee apprenticeship.
During his visit the Air Vice Marshal presented the awards at a ceremony held in the Warrant Officer's and Sergeants Mess. Among the recipients were the RAF Cosford Graphics Team and the RAF Cosford RIAT team who were presented with an Air Officer Commanding 22 Group Team Commendation. Other recipients received a Commandants Commendation, the Babcock Award, Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, Clasp to Long Service and Good Conduct Medal and the Operational Service Medal Iraq & Syria with Clasp. Congratulations to everyone for their hard work and dedication.
