During the visit he met personnel and students and viewed some of the technology currently in use across the School.
During his visit he placed a rivet in the Centenary Board created by Mechanical Training Squadron.
A special work of art was unveiled to mark the 100th anniversary of No 1 School of Technical Training. Artist, Keith Burns is renowned for his aviation art and this is the second piece of his formal work that hangs at Cosford.
