Cosford Pull Together at Braemar

RAF Cosford's Tug of War team, made up of 7 trainees, and brilliantly led by their driving force, Flt Lt Gareth Davies, competed at the Braemar Games on 7 September.

Only 10 teams were selected to compete and with only 8 weeks training, RAF Cosford fought hard for their place.

With such a young and inexperienced team, they were seen by everyone as the underdogs. After a grueling 4-match pool they made it to the knock out stage; however, they were then knocked out before the semi finals.

Couldn’t be prouder of these young men who, at the very start of their Royal Air Force careers, have found a passion in this new sport and done so well so fast.

Well done to them all. Well done Gareth to you and your support team for what you have done to promote this sport at RAF Cosford and for what you have given these young men.
