On the 3rd of April 2025, Air Vice-Marshal Townsend, Air Officer Commanding No 22 Group was the Reviewing Officer for the graduation of The King’s Squadron consisting of officer cadets from Modular Initial Officer Training Course No 33 and Reserve Officer Initial Training Course No 73.
After reviewing the Parade , Air Vice-Marshal Townsend said:
I am extremely proud to welcome today’s graduating Officers into our modern, agile, and operationally capable Royal Air Force. I have no doubt their talent will contribute enormously to our ability to fly, fight and win.

The event was made even more special with musical accompaniment from the Band of the Royal Air Force College and a flypast from two Hawk T2’s from IV(AC) Squadron, RAF Valley.
