Jack Holt Memorial Trophy

In September 2025 at the RAF Officer Training Academy (RAFOTA), RAF Cranwell, Flight Sergeant (FS) Sutton was awarded the prestigious Jack Holt Memorial Trophy.

Receiving the Jack Holt Award

This engraved pace stick is presented to the SNCO who has done the most to instil in Officer Cadets the qualities required of an RAF Officer – integrity, professionalism, dedication, discipline, and humanity. The award commemorates Flight Sergeant Jack Holt BEM MBE, whose selfless commitment and inspirational leadership at RAF Cranwell from the 1950s onward shaped generations of RAF Officers. His legacy of excellence, humour, and humanity continues to guide the training of cadets today. FS Sutton’s achievement reflects those very same values, recognised by both peers and the Cranwellian Association, and stands as a testament to his outstanding impact on the future leaders of the RAF.  Congratulations!
