At the end of June, RAF Cranwell hosted a guided walk across the northern side of the site as part of the North Kesteven Walking Festival 2025.
Over 30 walkers joined the event, which explored the Station’s military history as a Royal Naval Air Station during the First World War and the development of the RAF College throughout the 1920s and 1930s.

The walk offered a unique opportunity to share RAF Cranwell’s rich heritage while promoting the physical and mental health benefits of walking.
We look forward to working with the festival organisers again.
