There are no childcare facilities at RAF Fylingdales.
If you are to be assigned to RAF Fylingdales and require advice or encounter a problem on Living In accommodation or Service Family Accommodation you can get support from the Service Community Support Officer (SCSO).

Information for Service families about all aspects of UK Service Family Accommodation including: application, allocations, maintenance arrangements, moving in and out, SFA furniture, and living in a service home is available from Carillion Amey.
RAF Fylingdales has one contact house that can be used for emergency family accommodation. Only RAF personnel can make bookings.
There is no medical centre at RAF Fylingdales. All RAF personnel should register with Egton Surgery. Any dependants are to register with their local GP. Details can be obtained from Admin Support Flight.

Personnel should register with Egton Practice as soon as possible after arrival at RAF Fylingdales. Ideally before a first appointment but can be done concurrently.
PRIMARY HEALTHCARE SERVICES
Periodic Medicals, Medical Boards, Routine/OOA Prep vaccinations are held at RAF Leeming.
HEARING AND VISION TESTS
Hearing tests are conducted at RAF Leeming Medical Centre. For vision tests, vouchers are provided. Please contact the Practice Manager.
Via referral from the GP - pick up a leaflet from the surgery for details.
There is no Dental Centre at RAF Fylingdales.
Service families are to register at a Whitby Dental Practice. Details can be obtained from Admin Support Flight.
The RAF Fylingdales SSAFA Personnel and Family Support worker is currently located at RAF Linton on Ouse and visits RAF Fylingdales routinely dealing with a broad range of social issues for all service personnel, their families and veterans.
In addition, SSAFA is an integral member of the Station Welfare Casework Committee.

The gym has a fitness suite and classes.
Membership to the gym can be obtained for all RAF personnel, their dependants and contractors currently working at RAF Fylingdales only.
Opening times: Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day for the fitness suite and Monday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm for the classes.
