Congratulations to the recruits from Thompson intake 720 who graduated from the basic recruit training course at RAF Halton this month. 74 recruits marched onto the Henderson parade square behind their Flight Commander, Flight Lieutenant Gale to mark the end of their 10-week course.
This graduation welcomed RAF Halton’s Station Commander, Group Captain (Gp Capt) Garwood as their reviewing officer. After inspecting the parade Gp Capt Garwood addressed the recruits and said:
“You will now play a vital role in the defence of the United Kingdom, its people, and its territories across the globe. Much will be asked of you in the years ahead, particularly as our Service continues to evolve. However, as through training, your commitment to the security of this country will be underpinned by the support of your loved ones.
Remember what you’ve learnt here, always do the right thing even on a difficult day and when no one is watching, but above all, enjoy the adventure”.
