Saplings Before and After School Club
The Saplings Before and After School Club support RAF personnel whose children attend Naphill and Walters Ash School and other local schools. A healthy breakfast is supplied and a hot snack in the afternoon.

Red Kites
Red Kites provides full-time childcare for children under 5 years. Located opposite the Station Medical Centre, 3 Site.

Wise Owls Pre-School and Nursery operates under the umbrella of the RAF High Wycombe Station Children and Young Peoples Board. It provides childcare for children under 5 years old.

Medmenham Pre-School
Medmenham Early Years Pre-School operates under the umbrella of the RAF High Wycombe Children and Young Peoples Board. It provides childcare for children between the ages of 1 and 4 years.

Health and welfare
Medical and Dental Centre
The Medical and Dental Centre on the Station is for RAF personnel only. Dependants of personnel should register with a local GP and dental practice.
SSAFA PS&SWS RAF
SSAFA Personal Support & Social Work Service RAF (PS&SWS RAF) is contracted by the RAF to provide welfare support to all serving personnel (regular and reserves) and their families. Our team of specialist Personal & Family Support Workers and Social Workers are located on stations in the RAF community throughout the UK.
Our service is confidential and independent from the Chain of Command. It is the aim of our service to support you to enhance personal welfare, maintain family stability and empower you to access the support networks you are entitled to.
Our service can support you with a range of issues including addiction & dependency, child support, financial, housing, mental health, personal support, physical health, and relationships.
Anyone, regular, reserve or dependent, can refer themselves to SSAFA. You can contact our service by any of the ways below:

Sports
Station gym
The Station gym has a fitness suite and classes.
Dependants of RAF personnel can join the gym, but ask your spouse or partner to apply for RAF ID to use the gym and sports facilities unaccompanied.

Community and support facilities

The bars and cafés on the station are open to dependants of RAF personnel (except for Cafe 1). Ask your spouse or partner to apply for RAF ID to use them unaccompanied.
Cafe 1
Located on Site 1. Dependants are not permitted to use this cafe.
Cafe @3 – Station Coffee Shop
The Station coffee shop is for all the family. It is located on No 3 site, the entrance is to the right of the building through the car park.
The Station Coffee Shop incorporates a free soft play area (Little Lamb Busters).
Opening times: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
Smithies
An All Ranks Bar.
Opening times: Monday to Friday, evenings until 11pm.
Other facilities
Community Police and Neighbourhood Watch
A Community Policeman is available on the unit to deal with all routine community enquiries. There is also a neighbourhood watch scheme in operation at RAF High Wycombe and the community policeman is the deputy neighbourhood watch area co-ordinator.
All occupants of family quarters are encouraged to become members. If you wish to talk to the community policeman, or want to join the scheme, please contact the Community Policeman via the RAF Police main guardroom during office hours.
