The tickets are fully allocated, and the wait is almost over...
RAF Lossiemouth will be holding our annual Friends and Families event - Lossie Fest - on Saturday 13 July 2024.
Lossie Fest is the Station’s way of saying 'thank you' to those who have directly supported our service personnel over the last 12 months.
With Team Lossie delivering more on operations, more is being asked of friends and families - which is why we celebrate the role they play in helping the Station deliver its mission.
The day itself will feature stalls and attractions for all the family, and a limited flying display (weather and operational commitments permitting).
Important Times
1100 - Gates Open
1200 (noon) - Event starts
1000-1700 - Road closures and waiting restrictions (see below)
1200-1430 - Flying Display (subject to weather conditions)

Flying Display Box
The flying display will take place over RAF Lossiemouth, in the designated display area shown by the blue box below:
Members of the public are not able to gain access to RAF Lossiemouth on the day, however we are advising anyone hoping to see the aircraft displays to watch from public land north of the airfield.
Please respect our neighbours, and patronise local cafes and businesses.
Road Closures
Waiting restrictions and road closures will be in place near the Station, as shown below:
A full list of restrictions and roads affected can be found on the Moray Council website.
Travel Updates
Please follow the RAF Lossiemouth Facebook Page where we will be posting regular updates.
Safety Information
Aircraft operating within the display box are bound by the regulations set out by the Military and Civilian Aviation Authorities. Display aircraft will not plan to overfly occupied structures at less than 500ft.
All at RAF Lossiemouth want to assure the community, as with all our activities, safety is our primary consideration. Our Flying Display Director has carried out the appropriate risk assessments required by the Military and Civil Aviation Authorities for the flying displays.
Thank you to our neighbours
We apologise in advance for any disturbance this event may cause but hope many in the local area are able to enjoy the flying displays on the day. On behalf of the Station Commander, we also thank you for your patience during the road closure period.

E-tickets issued at the time of booking tell holders which car park and entry gate holders they should use.
Service personnel are being called forward to collect entry packs for their friends and families, from the stationary desk at Logistics Support Squadron, before 5 July 2024. Personnel will need to bring the e-ticket QR code with them.
