Motorbike Safety Course at RAF St Mawgan Enhances Rider Skills

RAF St Mawgan, Cornwall – On a sunny Wednesday in June, a one-day motorcycle safety course took place at RAF St Mawgan, designed to enhance riders' skills on the road. The course, conducted in collaboration with Devon and Cornwall Police Bike Safe Team, provided Service personnel with the opportunity to refine their riding techniques both in the classroom and out on local roads.

Participants strengthened their road safety skills, benefiting not only themselves but also contributing to a safer riding community. Open to Service personnel with a full motorbike licence, the course improved confidence and proficiency in navigating real-world road conditions.

Organised by Corporal Martin Davies of RAF St Mawgan Armoury, the initiative underscored the importance of responsible riding and ongoing training for motorcyclists. As road safety remains a priority, this collaborative effort ensured riders were better prepared for the challenges of the road.
