SMG Team Volunteer at RSPCA Cornwall Branch

A great morning with the team from RAF St Mawgan at the RSPCA Cornwall Branch. Organised by SAC(T) Midgley, the volunteers were given a behind the scenes tour of the facility and an opportunity to witness the amazing work the centre carries out on a day-to-day basis.

There was plenty to help with, clearing paving slabs and garden waste, in preparation for an upcoming project. After a great deal of effort and hard work the team were lucky enough to meet some of the wonderful animals currently waiting for their forever homes. It proves that with a positive approach volunteer work can be very rewarding and help make a difference. Well done team St Mawgan!!

Volunteering is a great way to meet like minded people who share the same enthusiasm and love for animals. It was such a rewarding experience, which allowed me to reach out to the local community and help make a difference to such a workwhile cause.
