A great opportunity to be involved in the relocation of our retired Royal Navy Sea King last week with the incredible teams from Joint Air Delivery Test and Evaluation Unit, RAF Benson, and Joint Aircraft Recovery and Transportation Squadron (JARTS) from MOD Boscombe Down.
It was located in a part of the Station which is inaccessible to large road vehicles, so an underslung load task was the ideal solution to get the old airframe, which had previously been used for training, moved safely and with minimal impact to the surroundings.
