RAF Waddington hosts the annual Deployed Families Christmas Lunch

The station has hosted the annual Deployed Families Christmas lunch this Sunday, 26th November 23.

Families came from our station and beyond - RAF Cranwell, Coningsby and Digby. The lunch was the biggest event yet with over 130 people in attendance.

It’s great to see so many families enjoying themselves despite their loved ones being away this Christmas.

These events are so important, and it is a joy to be able to make families happy at this particularly festive time. The level of support from station to host and help at this year’s event is especially heart-warming.

The event was held in the RAF Waddington Officers Mess and included a small gift bag, the option to record a message to loved ones that are overseas this Christmas, and a delicious three course meal. The event was supported on the day by many personnel from around station. A few names include the ISTAR Force Commander, Air Commodore Strasdin, the RAF Waddington Station Commander, the Station Warrant Officer, and the brilliant community support team.
