Flying Activity

Following an operational pause, limited flying will restart at designated 6 Flying Training School units on 27 Apr 20.  Activity will be limited to a series of single aircraft sorties for our flying instructors to remain safe, proficient and legally qualified to fly.

For safe flying proficiency, our qualified pilots are required to fly, as an absolute minimum, every 45 days. These solo sorties will ensure individuals maintain their highly-specialised competencies, qualifications and skills.

No date has been set for a full resumption of flying operations and the training of our students, but we expect to announce this in the coming weeks.
