Corporal Andrew Collins
Andy grew-up in Northamptonshire - always with an interest in aviation - and now lives in Lincolnshire. He joined the Royal Air Force in 2015 as a mechanical technician, going on to maintain Eurofighter Typhoons with 11(F) Squadron and 3(F) Squadron. After completing multiple international exercises and an operational tour across a six-year period, Andy moved to the Red Arrows in October 2021. As an avid airshow fan, Andy describes his time with the team as the best years of his career so far - with his Circus role being the highlight of it all.
Corporal Jessica Ware
Born and raised in Grimsby, Jess joined the Royal Air Force in 2005 as a mechanical technician. Previously working on Tornado GR4 aircraft, Jess spent 15 years at RAF Marham before joining the Red Arrows in 2020. She has covered many roles as part of her RAF career, including structural repairs, engine bay maintenance, frontline squadrons and teaching. During her time at RAF Marham she completed five operational deployments overseas and numerous exercises across the world, including Red Flag in the United States. Ever since joining the RAF, Jess has wanted to work with the Red Arrows because of unusual roles available across the team and the opportunity to represent the Service and UK globally.
Air Specialist (Class 1) Technician Jordan Walker
Jord is a mechanical technician and joined the Royal Air Force in June 2017. He is originally from Cleethorpes and, during his career, has previously worked on Chinook helicopters on 18 Squadron at RAF Odiham. This included four months in Mali as well as a visit to Paris, France, for a flyover event. Since coming to the Red Arrows, Jord has completed three pre-season training exercises, a tour of the Gulf region in support of a range of UK interests, airshows in Malta and Jersey in addition to travelling to many locations across Great Britain. This was as part of the dye team - replenishing the systems used to create the distinctive coloured trails.
Corporal Daniel Wilson
Doncaster-born Daniel joined the Royal Air Force in 2011 and is a weapons technician. Daniel has previously served at several RAF stations, including at RAF Lossiemouth - from where he deployed to Afghanistan with the Tornado GR4 aircraft. When based at RAF Odiham, Daniel completed deployments to both Iraq and Cyprus in support of operational taskings on the Chinook helicopter and Hercules C130 respectively. Daniel joined the Red Arrows in September 2022. The 2024 season will be he first full summer with the team, having deployed to the Falklands for a period last year, so is particularly looking forward to taking part in the 60th diamond display campaign.
Corporal Dale Smith
An avionics technician, Dale is from Doncaster in South Yorkshire. He joined the Royal Air Force in 2016 and has frontline, operational experience having worked on the E3-D Sentry aircraft - part of the Intelligence, Surveillance, Targeting and Reconnaissance fleet. Dale began his Red Arrows posting in September 2022 and will be part of the Circus team during the 60th diamond season.
Corporal Chris Old
Originally from Nottingham, Chris joined the Royal Air Force in 2010 and is a mechanical technician. Chris has engineering experience with a variety of RAF fleet types, such as the Tristar air-to-air refuelling aircraft and seven years in depth maintenance working on Typhoons. He has represented the RAF at ice hockey numerous times during his career, including two inter-service trophy wins and tours of Canada, Italy and Belgium. Chris joined the Red Arrows in January 2022 and is particularly looking forward to returning to Canada for the 2024 Maple Hawk tour by the team.
Air Specialist (Class 1) Technician Dan Vince
Dan is originally from Norwich and joined the Royal Air Force as a mechanical technician in 2013. Since then, Dan has worked on Chinook, with the Tornado Structures Bay and on the Airbus A400M Atlas. Dan Joined the Red Arrows in August 2020 and was a member of the 2022 Dye Team and 2023 Circus.
