RAF Waddington recently purchased a brand new static caravan for its Junior Ranks Welfare Fund.
The caravan was purchased with the assistance of a grant of £13,000 from the Nuffield Trust, and was in part exchange for the previous unit, which was in need of an upgrade after many years and lots of use.
The caravan can be booked by RAF Waddington personnel using a sliding scale of charges and is available for welfare breaks for personnel on the unit who need it.
